1. Summary

Hold On is a native iOS app blocker. We design it so Screen Time and blocking data stay on your device. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we process

A. Account (Sign in with Apple)
When you sign in with Apple, we store on your device (Keychain) identifiers Apple provides so you stay signed in — for example an opaque user ID and, if you share them, your name and/or email. We do not run our own account database for Hold On today.

B. Screen Time / Family Controls (on-device)
To block apps, the App uses Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls APIs, with your permission. Selected apps, schedules, limits, shield state, passes, and related blocking settings are stored on your iPhone (including an App Group used by the App and its extensions).
We do not upload your Screen Time usage, app lists, or block configuration to our servers.

C. Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive entitlement status through StoreKit on your device (for example whether you are subscribed or in a trial). We do not receive your full payment card details.

D. Device notifications
If you allow notifications, we may schedule a local reminder about an ending trial. That reminder is delivered by your device; it is not a marketing push from our servers.

E. Website
If you email us or use a contact form on https://useholdon.app, we receive whatever you send (for example your email address and message) to respond.

3. How we use information

  • Provide and operate the App (sign-in, blocking, subscription unlock)

  • Respond to support requests

  • Meet legal obligations

We do not use Screen Time or block data for advertising.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information only:

  • Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store, StoreKit, Screen Time / system services

  • Providers who host email or this website, only as needed to run them

  • Authorities if required by law

5. Retention

On-device App data remains until you delete the App or clear it. Sign-in data remains in Keychain until you sign out or delete the App. Support emails we keep as long as needed to help you and for legitimate business records.

6. Children

Hold On is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your choices

  • Revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings

  • Sign out in the App

  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID subscription settings

  • Delete the App to remove on-device App data

  • Contact us to ask about support emails we hold

8. International users

Shaigexp LLC may process support communications from where we operate. On-device App data stays on your device unless you choose to send us something (for example an email).

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version at https://useholdon.app/privacy-policy and update the effective date.
